You now, I don’t generally like to produce something just because I’ve set a “deadline” for myself and created, perhaps, a misplaced sense of urgency. Tonight though I am furiously themeing away; trying to ready this, rather sparse journal dedicated to all the “woo-woo”, “whimsical” things that I love. And the reason I’m so obstinately holding myself to this has everything to do with the glorious, glowing ball above us tonight. Something tells me that a birth under this particularly magickal sky will carry with it all the workings for success.
Speaking of which, have you had a chance to to check it out yet? The full moon in Gemini is one that reminds us of balance, perspective and keeping in harmony with ourselves, others and our surroundings. Opposing forces may be at play but opposing forces, with various degrees of skill and abilities, working toward the same goal, can be unstoppable. So this is what I hope to bring and what I intend to focus on. A space where I can find balance and harmony, where I can speak freely and share ideas in a public forum, thereby in turn, creating a therapeutic outlet for myself. What you’ll find here mainly will be my deck impressions (reviews by another name), rituals, opinions, personal readings and other articles of interest as it pertains to tarot. This is a space 23 years in the making (but more on that in the “about” section [coming soon!]) and I’m excited to finally be putting some of what I’ve learned through the years to print.
This is only a little introductory post so I can meet my deadline (sounds a bit like cheating, doesn’t it?) so I’ll be signing off for now. My crystals and decks are calling to me so I should be setting them up for their moon bath tonight. If you haven’t got out there yet to greet our friend in Gemini I urge you to take a peak; it will take your breath away.
Until next time, feel free to check me out on instagram where I’m posting everything tarot, gemstones and magick. Hope to see you there!
“I spoke about wings. You just flew. I wondered I guessed and I tried. You just knew. I sighed…you swooned! I saw the crescent. You saw the whole of the moon.”
