We do not advertise in this space.
There is no right or wrong way to do tarot or spirituality. As much as we can learn from others, following ones own inner teacher cannot be understated.
We believe tarot can allude to future possibilities, but they are just that - possibilities. It can suggest what may be unfolding due to the energetic trajectory, but that doesn’t mean something is destined to occur.
Furthermore, we believe tarot is good for many things, but especially potent for spiritual development and initiation into the mysteries.
Tarot is an aid, but the real power comes from within. With that being said, tarot is a damn powerful tool that can help you not just connect with that power source, but develop it further.
We believe tarot is more than a method of divination. We believe it is a language, an optical illusion, a mirror, a channel, a gateway and a mystery.

While I generally find labels challenging, I would call myself all of these things: Naturally intuitive, tarot reader, student, teacher, follower of breadcrumbs and lover of mystery. I acquired my first deck when I was 11 years old (The Servants of the Light) because I was compulsively drawn to work with the cards. Obviously I didn’t get so far with them back then…but, the seeds were planted! Even though I couldn’t have understood it at the time, I now realize that inner calling came from a deeper knowing that the cards were keys to something greater (something I’d later figure out). It is my privilege to be able to share this space, write about all the things I love, and connect with fellow seekers on the path.

I’ve crossed the 40 year threshold!
I love to read and learn, but I am more inspired by how little I know than how much I do.
My favourite tarot deck of all time is the borderless centennial edition of the Rider Waite Smith, but in terms of modern renditions, The Fountain Tarot also owns a piece of my heart.
I have a very lively dream/sleep life which includes lucid experiences, frequent hypnagogic episodes, prophetic dreams, and strange experiences during paralysis.
If my life were a playlist it would consist of all the various waves of the 80’s with a splash of goth, electronic and dreampop for ambiance.
I am deeply fascinated by altered states of consciousness, aliens, space and anything remotely “super natural”.

Hello! My name is Tim, and I am Julia's partner in life and the Great Work. I consider myself a dedicated student of the Western Esoteric Tradition (a hodge-podge of tarot, astrology, Qabalah, alchemy, and ceremonial magic), as well as psychology, comparative religion & mythology, philosophy, art, and literature — but I am interested in any field of study that has been touched by the human urge to transcend our earthly limits. I've used various labels for my work over the years, but I am ultimately not a fan of any of them; I am but a perpetual student, here to lend a hand to others on The Path. My specialties include divination (tarot, geomancy, scrying, dream interpretation), ritual magic, analytical psychology, and my own strange, eclectic brand of shamanic healing, haphazardly pieced together over several years of study and practice.

I am a Cancer Sun, Pisces Moon, & Libra Ascendant, but I also have three planets in both Capricorn and Leo.
I'm also an avid writer/poet; I've written a few short poetry collections, and I have another half-dozen-or-so assorted manuscripts that have been "sitting in a drawer for many years," as another reader once warned me would happen. In the meantime, I've recently begun to publish a number of my old poems on a blog I've called Dialogues Across Centuries, so please check it out if you're interested!
I also consider myself a student of Chinese tea culture; I'm especially fond of pu-erh, a post-fermented tea that undergoes a gradual transformation over several years from a vibrant, yellowish brew to a complex, earthy red.
I love gardening, as it helps me to provide nutritious food for my family and to connect with the seasonal cycles of our planet. (It has also blessed me with a whole new understanding of the Pentacles suit!)
I consider my relationship with the Divine to be the cornerstone of my life — and tarot, magic, and meditation are integral parts of that.
